The Dhaka Times Desk Directed by Mazhar Babu and produced under the banner of Friday Productions, the work of 'Thokar' starring Adhra Khan is nearing completion. Now the film is awaiting release.
According to the maker, the film is being shot by dividing it into small lots as per the need of the story. The first lot was shot in a shooting house in Uttara of the capital. Monira Mithu, Saif Chandan, Asma Jhelik and Adhra Khan shot at this stage. Several stars took part in the second phase of shooting.
Today's popular actress Adhra Khan is the heroine in the movie 'Thokar'. Model-presenter and small screen actor Evan Cyr is being unveiled as the hero opposite him.
About the film, director Mazhar Babu said, 'The film is being made based on a different story. I don't want to say anything about the story at the moment. However, the audience will be gifted with an unconventional film. I have been associated with film production for 24 years. I hope that I can give something good to the audience.'
About acting, Monira Mithu said, 'The film is being made with a timely story. I enjoyed my character a lot. Hope everyone likes the film.'
Saif Chandan said, 'Thokkar' is a good work. This is a very contemporary story. There is a lot to attract the audience in this film.'
However, there is no word on the release date of the film.
