Yesterday Sunday (June 18) at noon, the Facebook page of the United States Embassy in Dhaka informed about the increase in visa fees. The new visa fee is effective from June 17.
According to the embassy, the application fee for travel visas (B1/B2) for business or tourism and other non-petition NIVs such as student and exchange visitor visas has been increased from $160 (about Tk 17,287) to $185 (about Tk 19,000). 988) is done.
In addition, certain application-based nonimmigrant visa application fees for temporary workers (classes H, L, O, P, Q, and R) have been increased from $190 to $205.
