Built in the southern island district of Bhola, this modern and beautifully decorated mosque is named Nizam-Hasina Mosque. It has been built under the supervision of the Nizam-Hasina Foundation.
This mosque was built on about one and a half acres of land in Ukil Para of Bhola city. This mosque was auspiciously inaugurated on Friday, December 30, 2016 by performing Friday prayers.
Built with various precious stones including marble stones and sophisticated architectural craftsmanship, this two-storey mosque has separate ablutions and prayer spaces for women and men with the financial support of the Nizam-Hasina Foundation.
The construction of this mosque started from June 2010. Designer Kamruzzaman Liton of Architect Forum designed the mosque's grandeur.
There are two fountains with inscriptions of Allah on both sides of this mosque. There are beautiful flower gardens around the mosque. Apart from this, there is also a special system of prayer for women. There are 32 ablution facilities including two ablution facilities for women and 10 toilets including two toilets.
