Those who are still not found

Percy Fawcett 1925

British colonel Percy Fawcett set out in 1925 to find the 'hidden city of gold' in the jungles of Brazil. He was accompanied by his older son Jack and friend Raleigh Rimmel. Then the three disappeared. Many groups went deep into the forest to look for them. Hundreds of people also died in those raids at different times. Although some items used by Percy Fawcett were recovered from the jungles of Brazil, there was no trace of Percy Fawcett and his two companions.

John Cabot 1499

The famous explorer John Cabot set out in search of a western sea route from Europe to Asia. In this expedition of 1499 he had five wooden ships with him. Each was 100 feet long. No trace of John Cabot or other explorers was found after Keen's expedition. John Cabot became the second European explorer to reach North America in 1497, two years before his disappearance. Not even the wreckage of his ship or the bodies of other explorers have been found. It is believed that all the ships were destroyed by a strong storm or hit by an iceberg and everyone died. One by one everyone died of some serious illness that no one suspected. Whatever the doubt, six hundred years later it is not certain what happened to the famous explorer John Cabot or his companions.

red fort

Built in the 14th century under the Moorish rule of Royal Granada, Al Hamra Fort's name means Red Fort. The fort is located southeast of the city of Granada, Spain. The Moorish Palace of Al Hamra was built by the Narshid ruler for the last Muslim emirs of Spain. After the reconquest of Spain by the Catholic emperors in 1492, parts of the castle were used by Christian rulers. In 1527, Roman Emperor Charles V built a palace inside the castle. Then, in the 19th century, after centuries of careless neglect, the fort was discovered by European explorers and tourists, and the restoration process began. The castle is considered one of Spain's main tourist attractions, with Islamic remains, post-16th-century Christian buildings and gardens.

Timbuktu

Timbuktu is located 15 kilometers north of the Niger River in Mali, West Africa, and at the southern edge of the Sahara Desert. Timbuktu is one of the eight administrative regions of Mali. It was established as a settlement in the 12th century AD after natural landslides. As early as the 13th century, there was trade in salt, gold, ivory and slaves. The city was occupied by Tuareg tribesmen until 1468 when the Shanghai emperor captured it. In 1591, the Moroccan army defeated the Shanghai emperor, captured the city and named it Timbuktu, and defeated the people of Arma. The city was ruled by different tribal groups at different times until the French took over Timbuktu in 1893. In 1960, Timbuktu became part of present-day Mali.
