The Dhaka Times Desk Experimental train movement has started on Padma multi-purpose bridge. This special experimental train reached Banga in Faridpur from Kamalapur in Dhaka via Padma Bridge today Thursday (September 7) at 12:17 PM. The train takes only 2 hours and 10 minutes to cover this long distance of 82 km.
The train left Kamalapur at 10:07 AM. Then the train reached Padma bridge at 11:26 and crossed the 6.15 km bridge at 11:33.
Before the start of this special train journey, Railway Minister Nurul Islam Sujan said that the inauguration of this railway line will bring about a revolutionary change in the railway communication system in the southern region. The life of the people of this region will be easier, the people of the whole country will get the benefits.
Enamul Haque as the locomaster and MA Hossain as the assistant locomaster drove the train in the first trial run of this train. Anwar Hossain operated the train as a guard.
After the train reached Faridpur's Bhanga railway station, people gathered from different parts of the upazila greeted the train with slogans of 'Joy Bangla'.
Meanwhile, it is known that every station will have ATM booth, department store. There will be special ramps for the physically challenged. 23.37 km of the 82 km railway is on the viaduct. A stoneless railway has been constructed over the Viaduct and Padma Bridge.
If everything goes well, the train will run to Jessore in June next year, the authorities said. By 2030, 13 pairs of trains will run daily on the Dhaka-Bhanga section, 7 pairs on the Bhanga-Kashiani section and 5 pairs on the Kashiani-Jesore section. During this period, it is considered possible to transport 40 lakh passengers per year in Dhaka-Bhanga section, at least 1.7 lakh per year in Bhanga-Kashiani section and about 1.5 lakh passengers per year in Kashiani-Jesore section.
Note that when the project was approved in 2016, its construction cost was estimated to be around Tk 34,989 crore. On May 22, 2018, when the project proposal was revised, the cost increased to Tk 39 thousand 247 crores. Exim Bank of China is lending 266.79 million dollars to implement the project. The rest of the money is being spent by the Bangladesh government.

How to prevent dengue
Dengue is a mosquito-borne viral fever. This fever is different from other viral or bacterial fevers. However, this fever is not contagious in any way. This viral fever can occur alone or in combination with other viruses (chikungunya, yellow fever, Burma forest, flu, respiratory syncytial) and bacteria (pneumococcus).
Dengue fever is divided into two categories depending on the severity of symptoms and fever.
1. Common dengue fever
2. Dengue fever with bleeding.
In the case of common dengue fever, the following symptoms are mainly seen-
1. Sudden high fever lasting 2 to 7 days.
2. Severe headache.
3. Pain behind the eyes.
4. Along with the fever, red rash appears all over the body.
5. Severe pain in whole body as well as back pain.
6. Nausea or vomiting.
7. A rash or red bumps on the skin.
In case of dengue fever with bleeding:
1. Bleeding from nose, mouth or vomiting with high fever within 2 to 48 hours.
2. Fluid accumulation in chest or abdomen along with fever.
If any of these symptoms appear, seek medical attention immediately.
On the other hand
Wait at home for the first 3 days of fever. On the other hand, sponge the whole body with water every now and then. This will reduce the level of fever. Drink enough water and rest. After that, if the fever does not decrease or if it continues to increase after some time, consult a doctor immediately.
Things to do to prevent Dengue:
1. Try to keep the surroundings of the house as clean as possible.
2. If there are flower tubs or broken plastic bottles, can shells, tires or polythene inside the house, clean them quickly and drain the accumulated water from the flower tubs.
3. Spray or fog at least 3 times a week to kill mosquitoes.
4. You can keep mosquito repellent cream with you while going out.
5. After evening, younger and older members of the household should use mosquito nets.
6. Clean up any accumulated rain water, as this is the time when Aedes mosquitoes lay their eggs.
7. On the other hand, you can use mats along with mosquito nets to avoid mosquito infestation.
