Prime Minister inaugurated Agargaon-Motijheel route Metrorail: Motijheel journey will start from tomorrow morning

The Dhaka Times Desk Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the Agargaon-Motijheel section of Metrorail i.e. MRT Line-6 on Saturday (November 4) at noon. Motijheel Yatra is starting from tomorrow (Sunday) morning.

Out of the 9 stations Uttara and Agargaon stations were opened first but gradually all 9 stations were opened by March 30 this year. Even so, the passengers did not get full benefits. However, after the inauguration of the second section today (Saturday), around 2 lakh passengers will come under the Metrorail service every day.

Agargaon to Motijheel section also has 7 stations. Out of which the train will stop at 3 stations first. These stations are - Motijheel, Bangladesh Secretariat and Farmgate Metrorail Station. Passengers can travel easily through these three stations. Other 4 stations are undergoing last minute work. It will take some time to start. Vijaysmarani, Caravanbazar, Shahbagh and Dhaka University stations will be opened in phases as soon as the work is completed.

If any of these symptoms appear, seek medical attention immediately.

3. Spray or fog at least 3 times a week to kill mosquitoes.

4. You can keep mosquito repellent cream with you while going out.

5. After evening, younger and older members of the household should use mosquito nets.

6. Clean up any accumulated rain water, as this is the time when Aedes mosquitoes lay their eggs.

7. On the other hand, you can use mats along with mosquito nets to avoid mosquito infestation.
