Star Spotlight: Platform to showcase children's talent

The Dhaka Times Desk New Horizon Canadian International School is going to organize 'Star Spotlight' competition to showcase the talent of children.

The competition will be held on February 22 and 24 from 10 am to 4 pm. In this, children aged 2 to 8 years will get an opportunity to show their talent in various subjects like painting, dancing, music, poetry, mathematics, scientific inventions.

Content creator and artist Masuda Khan will be present as a special guest in this competition organized at the New Horizon Canadian International School campus located at 38/2/B, Dilu Road, New Eskaton, Dhaka.

This exciting competition is organized to develop children by discovering their latent talent and bringing it to the fore. The main aim of this event is to increase the confidence of children and ensure a healthy learning environment with the participation of all. The competition will be organized in two categories; One for 2 to 5 year olds, the other for 6 to 8 year olds. Participating students will receive a scholarship and certificate from New Horizon Canadian International School. The first prize winners will get a 25 percent scholarship towards the tuition fee, in addition to the opportunity to attend the school absolutely free. Second and third place winners also have the opportunity to be admitted to New Horizon Canadian International School without the admission fee; Moreover, they will get 20 and 15 percent scholarship towards tuition fee respectively. A total of 6 students will be awarded this award in two categories.

Children participating in the drawing section should bring their own drawing materials. Similarly, children should bring their own musical instruments to participate in the music section. However, art paper and sound system will be provided by the school.
