British Council: Applications open for Great Scholarship 2024 for Bangladeshi students

Opportunity to do post graduation in various subjects including science, technology and law

The Dhaka Times Desk Bangladeshi students can now apply for British Council's Great Scholarship. Through the UK Government's Great Britain Campaign - The Great Scholarship, Bangladeshi students will get an opportunity to pursue a master's degree in various subjects in UK universities from the Autumn 2024 session.

As part of this scholarship program, 15 Great Scholarships are being offered to Bangladeshi students for postgraduate studies at 71 universities in the UK this year in Finance, Marketing, Business, Psychology Design, Humanities and Dance among others. Each Great Scholarship grants £10,000 towards tuition fees for study on a one-year postgraduate course in the academic year 2024-25.

In addition, the Great Scholarship 2024 program in partnership with the Ministry of Justice will award three scholarships to Bangladeshi students to study law and justice, through which Bangladeshi students will have the opportunity to study the mentioned subjects at the three UK universities participating in this program. Students from Bangladesh who are interested in pursuing higher education in various fields including human rights, property law, criminal justice and commercial law can apply for this scholarship.

In addition, the scholarship program will provide opportunities to study at two UK universities in science and technology in the academic year 2024-25. Under this scholarship, Bangladeshi students have the opportunity to apply to any of the universities participating in the program to study various science and technology-related subjects such as artificial intelligence, sustainable engineering and psychology.
