34 fingered baby

His name is easily listed in the Guinness Book of Records - a world record for such a baby just one year after birth. He broke the world record by being born with a total of 34 fingers and toes. This child named Aksat Saxena was born in Uttar Pradesh, India. He has 7 fingers on each hand and 10 on each foot, totaling 34 fingers. A spokesperson for Guinness World Records confirmed the news.

But even among so many fingers Saxena's thumb cannot be found. In other words, he has 7 fingers but no thumb. Surgeons amputated his extra finger in a series of operations. Doctors are trying to reconstruct his thumb with the amputated finger.

Saxena's mother said, I was very happy to see my child as the first child. But I was surprised to see his 34 fingers.

Saxena's mother said a family friend said she had seen a Chinese child with 31 fingers on the internet. But Saxena is different. Then he said, my child has broken the world record. Earlier, a Chinese child had set a world record with 15 fingers and 16 feet, totaling 31 fingers. The child's extra fingers were also surgically amputated. He currently has 20 fingers.
