Suddenly this half-melted whale floats in the river. When this news spread in the area, hundreds of people flocked to catch a glimpse of the whale.
This huge whale enters Payra River at high tide through the Bay of Bengal estuary. The fishermen went to a place called Tetulbaria in a trawler and brought the fish to the shore. The tail and some parts of the head of this whale have melted and fallen off.
This whale is about 60 feet long and 30 feet wide. The length of the whale's tongue is 9 feet.
