The Dhaka Times Desk It is well known that when a man has unlimited power, he goes insane. Then his conscience disappears, he wants to do whatever he wants. Let's get to know some of the rulers of history who were mentally disturbed in a sense!


Emperor Justin II

This Byzantine emperor ruled from 565 to 576 AD. It is said that during the last phase of the emperor's reign, his brain was damaged. He moved around the palace in a wheelchair and even bit the guards who were in his service!

Ibrahim of the Ottoman Empire

This king of the Ottoman Empire is famous for his addiction to fat women. He drowned 280 of his wives in the sea when he heard they were having affairs with someone else!
