When the police are the target: Two policemen were killed in just one week

Two policemen lost their lives in the last week. 1 person died in Bangla Motor in the capital and 1 policeman in Rajshahi yesterday.

Police were attacked in Rajshahi yesterday. 9 policemen were seriously injured in the incident yesterday afternoon as they threw cocktails directly at the police. 9 people were admitted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital among those injured in the bomb attack on the police in Rajshahi. They are Constable Tauhidul Islam Tauhid (25), Siddharth (25), Anand Kumar (25), Asaduzzaman Asad (26), Abdul Majeed (26), Shahriar Alam (25), Raihanul Alam Raihan (26), Sohail (24). And Rafi (26). Constable Siddharth was admitted to CMH in Dhaka in the evening. He died shortly after. The condition of two other constables Tauhid and Anand is also said to be critical.

After admission, Dr. Khandaker Nafiz Rahman of the Surgery Department of Ramek Hospital told the media that among the injured, Siddharth had blood in his lungs. His left side of the rib was seriously injured by the bomb. There is a risk of liver damage. His condition is critical. 12 bags of blood had to be given to his body till 5 pm. It is feared that Anand's head and Touhid's right eye may have bomb splinters. Siddharth and Anand are asked to be sent to Dhaka. Later Siddhartha died at CNH.
