1.Never go wrong with breakfast. There is no substitute for breakfast to gain energy to stay active throughout the day. You can eat toast, fruits, vegetables, cheese or milk as breakfast.

2.Make it a habit to eat vegetables and fruits instead of jumping on rice-curry for every meal. These foods are packed with lots of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Two cups of fruits and two and a half cups of vegetables should be consumed daily.

3.Consuming the right amount of protein is important for good health. So eat protein rich foods like meat, non-fat milk, fruits etc. as per requirement.

4.Physical activity keeps the body weight right, high blood pressure is reduced. Children and teenagers should do one hour a day and older people two and a half hours a day of exercise or other physical activity.
