Gun battle with joint forces: 3 killed in two districts

The Dhaka Times Desk It has been reported that 3 Jamaat-Shibirs were killed in two districts in a gun battle with joint forces.

The clash between Jamaat-Shibir and the joint forces took place in Satkhira's Debhata and Jhenaidah's Court Chandpur upazilas in the early hours of Sunday. 3 Jamaat-Shibir activists were killed. A few policemen including police SI were also injured in the clash.

In the early morning, there was a massive clash with the joint forces at Debhata in Satkhira. At that time, two camp workers named Maruf Hossain (25) and camp secretary Abul Kalam (23) were killed in the clash. 2 policemen were injured in this clash.

On the other hand, there was a clash with the joint forces at Kotchandpur in Jhenaidah. Upazila Jamaat finance secretary Enamul Haque was killed in this clash. The deceased Enamul Haque is the son of Abdul Malek Biswas of Chandpara village. Local police said that there are multiple cases against Enamul.

Courtchandpur police station SI Muktar Hossain, Mizanur Rahman and police constable Joydev Chowdhury were injured in this gunfight.
