Toshiba's Smart Mirror: The Screen of the Future

The Dhaka Times Desk Almost every day we are exposed to new technologies or ideas. As a result, it is becoming very difficult for us to adapt to any technology. One such new concept is the smart mirror.

Toshiba showcased this new technology at the International Consumer Electronics Show 2014. Such mirrors were featured in numerous sci-fi movies of the 1990s and 2000s, hence the innovative idea of Toshiba's Smart Mirror. The black mirror of the multi display has various functional concepts.

The mirror is currently built for two environments. For the bathroom that will inform the user of some essential information at the start of the day such as weather, physical fitness. For the kitchen that displays recipes and other tidbits. The mirror used for the kitchen is quite attractive especially it is quite large and can be controlled by hand from a distance. But it is true that Toshiba is not bringing this smart mirror to the market anytime soon. According to various sources, they are thinking of such mirrors for the user's shower room. Where different types of movies, yoga, games will be shown.

Smart mirrors are coming for kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms, maybe a decade from today and personal care will be much more.
