There will be no gas for 20 hours in different areas of the capital

The Dhaka Times Desk It has been reported that there will be no gas in different areas of the capital for 20 hours. The authorities of Titus Gra said that this problem will be due to the replacement of the gas pipeline.

Titus Gas said that due to the replacement of gas pipelines in Begunbari Canal and Hatirjheel areas of the capital, around 31 areas of the capital will not have gas for about 20 hours from 24 February (Monday) 10 am to 25 February (Tuesday) 6 am.

Due to this, there was gas shortage in many areas of the capital on Thursday and there is a possibility of disruption of gas supply in some areas on Friday as well, according to Titas Gas Authority.

According to the media, some gas is being supplied by alternative means to areas other than Badda and Gulshan. As a result, even if gas is available in some places, there may be disruptions in many places and the gas pressure may be low.

Gas supply may be disrupted - Rampura, Bansree, Nandipara, Khilgaon, Malibagh, Shantinagar, Moghbazar, Sidveshri, Mothertech, Basabo and adjoining areas, Gulshan, Banani, Baridhara, Bashundhara, Nikunj, Niketan, DOHS, Dhaka Cantonment and surrounding areas, Gas supply may be disrupted in Kafrul, Ibrahimpur, Pirer Bagh, Manipur, Mirpur and surrounding areas, North Badda, Madhya Badda, Dakshin Badda, Merul Badda and surrounding areas.

Gas supply was disrupted in several areas yesterday Thursday from 11 am to 4 pm. The same conditions are expected to remain on Friday from 11 am to 4 pm. Titus Gas Authority has expressed its regret to the customers for the temporary inconvenience.
