About 6 to 14 inches of snow piled up on roads in the northern states of America. This disrupted public life and declared a holiday in schools and colleges. Snowfall also hit New York City and Atlanta. Cities are covered in snow.
Highways connecting states in the northern region of America were impassable due to snowfall. There have even been reports of two people dying while driving on ice.
