The Dhaka Times Desk The friendship between dogs and humans dates back to ancient times. However, until now, there was little understanding of the similarities between the brains of dogs and humans. However, this time researchers have found a surprising similarity between dog brain and human brain.
Eldal researchers in Hungary conducted studies on brain structure and stimulation in dogs and humans. They found surprising information in the study. Studies have shown that dogs and humans have surprising brain similarities. Just like humans, dogs' brains are capable of responding to sounds. In addition, like humans, the dog's brain can also respond to emotions.
Eleven pet dogs were included in the study. All of whom are given special training. These trainings are conducted in 12 phases. After training, the dogs were trained to lie down inside the MRI scanner. Each dog was placed inside the MRI scanner for 8 minutes and their brains were studied in detail. In this case, the researchers made the dogs listen to 200 types of sounds and followed the emotional and physical expressions of the dogs. Brain stimulation of dogs is reviewed in an MRI scanner.
The researchers then scanned the brains of 22 human volunteers and exposed them to the same 200 word test. Researchers are surprised to note that the brains of dogs and humans are remarkably similar.
Dr. Andix said, 'The dog's brain is very close to the human brain in terms of function and location. The stimulation of the areas of the dog's brain that we found when hearing sounds was remarkably similar to the stimulation of the human brain."
Such research has never been done before. This is the first study of dog and human brains, and the findings are prompting researchers to think more about the subject.
