Deepa Maheta's film is called 'The Bengali Detective'. Infan Khan will play the lead role. The film will be shot at different locations in Kolkata. Some parts will be shot like a period film, said Deepa.
Every film of Deepa Maheta has a Bengali character. But Bengali was never seen in the central role. After the namesake film, he took the initiative to make such a film.
Byomkesh, Feluda, Kiriti, Kakababu, Col. Michel will be the detective character of the film 'The Bengali Detective'. The director himself has studied a lot about these famous creations of Kolkata. So it is expected that the film will appear with an excellent detective story.
