On the website of Guinness World Records The latest update says, 'Bangladesh has recorded the highest number of people performing the national anthem.' It is also said on the website that on 26 March 2014, 254,537 people participated in the performance of the national anthem at the National Parade Ground in Bangladesh. In this case, the previous record has been surpassed. The previous record for the national anthem was held by India. 1 lakh 21 thousand 653 people performed the national anthem together on May 6, 2013.
It is to be noted that earlier, Bangladesh made a place in the Guinness World Records by making the 'Human National Flag' at this national parade ground.
