The Meteorological Department said yesterday, the highest temperature in the country was recorded in Jessore at 42.4 degrees Celsius. And the lowest temperature was only 19.7 degrees Celsius at Srimangal in Sylhet. And this temperature was the highest temperature in Dhaka in the history of Bangladesh.
Director of Meteorological Department Shah Alam said that there is a high possibility of rain after April 27. If it rains, the temperature will drop. It is said that the reason for not raining in this heat is because of the lack of southerly wind. As a result, the soil dries up and loses moisture. He is constantly increasing the heat.
Due to the heat, many people are getting sick by freely eating roadside sherbet. The number of people infected with water-borne and harmful bacteria is constantly increasing. Many people are also dying of heatstroke. The condition of the elderly and children is especially dire. Due to which people's life is stagnant.
