Yahoo brings new service 'Mobile First' for smartphone users

The Dhaka Times Desk Marissa Mayer has been the CEO of Yahoo since 2012. He was the first to come up with a new system for the company. Yahoo has launched a new service for smartphones called Mobile First.

Mobile First is Yahoo's new service. It is designed with mobile users in mind. With this new feature system, Yahoo Mail users will be simultaneously informed about Yahoo News, Economics, Sports and Weather. Yahoo has not changed the design of its previous mail but it has brought more improvements to the same system and added various features. Connected systems are Yahoo's own services, including news, weather, sports and economics.

When the user launches this new updated mail app, a new menubar will appear at the top, which will have two tabs, one 'News' and the other 'Today' tab. The News tab will bring to the user all the required news of a particular day as per the user's choice. On the other hand, the Today tab will show weather, sports and stock market updates. If the user feels that he does not need these services, Yahoo has also provided a system to turn them off.

Like the Yahoo homepage, users can customize it as they wish. For example, users can customize the news section according to their preferences. A particular day's weather, stock market and sports news will appear according to the user's location. The new Yahoo Mail app design is currently only available on iPhone but will soon be available on Android devices.
