The Dhaka Times Desk In recent times, murders have increased in the country. After the burning of Feni, the murder happened in Lakshmipur. Terrorists have killed 2 leaders of A.League. The incident happened on Thursday morning.
The police recovered the bodies of the two Awami League leaders from Laxmipur Sadar and Raipur upazila. Police and family members say they were killed.
The deceased are- President of Charshahi Union Awami League of Sadar Upazila Abdul Mannan Bhuiyan (50) and the other is Abdul Majid (47), General Secretary of Ward No. 2 of Raipur Municipality of Laxmipur. It is known that Abdul Mannan Bhuiyan was killed by terrorists by slitting his throat. The police recovered his body from Rampur village early today.
On the other hand, on Wednesday around 11:30 pm, somebody called another person named Mannan from his mobile phone. Later around 12 o'clock, his dead body was found on the side of a road near the house. After informing the police, the police recovered the body.
