According to the survey, university students spend 6 hours or more daily on social networking sites like Facebook and YouTube. He is busy sending messages and watching and sharing various videos. Through this survey, some more interesting information has emerged that even while listening to the teacher's lecture in the class, they do not refrain from Facebook-YouTube. Because of this, the teachers started expelling the students from the class for not paying attention to the lectures. According to a survey conducted by an organization called Unite Student, 75 percent of undergraduate students spend half an hour to two hours daily on Facebook or Twitter. Of these, one in 10 spends another three hours. They spend half an hour to two hours watching YouTube again. 7% of students spend 3 hours on YouTube.
UK's Nottingham Trent University psychologist and social media site expert Dr. Mark Griffiths says many students are busy with social networking sites during his classes. He said, if he sees someone on a mobile phone in the class, he stops the lecture. And keep the student away from it. If he did it a second time, he was thrown out of the class.
