Date palm ceremony in the morning of Ramadan. Dates of Arabia. Our country has a lot of imports. Demand for dates increases especially during Ramadan. So dates are more imported at this time.
Dates are one of the iftar items in Ramadan. Moreover, our Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) used to make Sehri with dates and also used to eat dates in Iftar. And so we accept it as Sunnah and keep dates along with other arrangements during Iftari. Dates are high in calories. A few dates are eaten during Sehri. Especially if for some reason you get up late for Sehri. You can eat a few dates before Azaan. Just a few dates will give you the strength and energy you get from eating a plate of rice. On the other hand, a Sunnah will be observed in Ramadan.
