How many people have to give blood, and how many people have to pay the price of the movement with their lives? This question is now for every conscious person in the country.
From the language movement of 1952 to the liberation war of 1971 and the mass uprising of the 1990s, the people of this country have sacrificed their lives. After 90 people of this country thought that democracy has come in the country, people will live with their rights. But in 1995, he lost his mind and consciousness. The people of this country fell into the same problem after only a few years. The movement started again on the caretaker issue. After many strikes and blockades, the then BNP government finally dissolved the parliament ahead of schedule. Give a new election. No major party of the country participated in the election. Later, however, the Caretaker Bill was passed in the Parliament in the first session itself. Then in 1996 and 2001 elections were held like this. But in 2007, due to the monogamy of the political parties, the caretaker government came again in the country but not for those three months. Everyone knows the story after that. Now the Awami League government came to power and refrained from doing so by fearing the caretaker government. Because due to a judgment of the High Court, when they opposed the reintroduction of the caretaker government, anarchy started in the country.
However, due to the foresight of the Awami League government, the common people of the country survived a little as there was no hartal strike in the country for the last 4/5 months. But when Jamaat-e-Islami Chora Gupta attacked and called a hartal over the issue of war crimes, the country's political parties were reinvigorated. As a result, anti-people programs like blockades and hartals have started again. Which is not desirable at all for the common people of the country.
4 people were killed in the December 9 siege. Many people were injured. An uproar has started throughout the country. Bombing, burning cars, killing people, there is no such thing that did not happen in that day's siege. This situation is not desirable for us at all. People of the country will always be with the opposition party if they do peaceful programs especially except programs like blockade and hartal. But the people of the country will not accept any terrorist activities.
There is no reason to think that a hartal is a failure if it runs on horse and cart roads, or a strike succeeds if it runs on horse and cart roads. Because our country has reached such a stage that the success or failure of the strike does not matter to the government. So our question is why this bombing? Why burn this car? Why kill these people? When politics is for the welfare of the people, we leave it to them. If they think they have to go on a strike, not even a single car needs to be broken, the road will be empty.
Now the modern age has come. And because of this modern digital age, people can now understand which hartal is happening and which is not. Who burned cars and who hacked people to death. During the siege of December 9, a person was hacked to death in Old Dhaka, that scene was shown on almost all channels in the country. Hi people, hi civilization!
There is still time to do politics for the welfare of the country's people. Both the government and opposition parties should be aware and forget their greed and hatred and come forward only for the people of the country. No more terrorist politics for the lust of power. Let us all work for the welfare of people.
