Director Iftekhar Chowdhury has decided to make a sequel after the commercial success of his 'Agni'. Mahiya Mahi, one of the firebrands of the current generation, is also in the central role of 'Agni 2'. However, Arefin Shubo, the hero of the first movie, will not be seen this time. A new hero will be cast in 'Agni 2', said the director of the film.
Director Iftekhar Chowdhury told the media that this time you will see a new hero opposite Mahi. But who will be that hero is yet to be finalised.
He also said that the story of 'Agni-2' will start from where the story of the first movie ended. In the last scene of 'Agni', it will be known in 'Agni-2' whether Dragon and Tanisha's dream of building a house of love came true. However, Mahiya Mahi as 'Tanisha' will be seen in more action scenes this time - said Iftekhar Chowdhury.
Iftekhar Chowdhury said, "Agni 2" movie will be original movie. I will be very careful that it doesn't have any plot, story or action scenes from foreign movies.' Iftekhar Chowdhury said, 'I can guarantee that the audience will not find anything fake in it. Babu is one of the best screenwriters of this time. Tell him, there should be no fake.' Abdullah Zaheer Babu is writing the screenplay of 'Agni-2'.
Iftekhar also said that the shooting of the film 'Agni-2' will begin next January. Tariq Anam will play the villain in 'Agni-2'. However, the current generation director Iftekhar Chowdhury said that the rest of the characters have not been finalized yet.
Note that the first film directed by Iftekhar Chowdhury 'Khonj The Search' was released in 2010. He also directed, 'Bodyguard' and 'Reign'. The film was a commercial success.
