An Iranian citizen said in a Twitter message that there were a total of 50 passengers in the crashed plane. 40 of them were killed. The plane crashed just before taking off for the city of Tabas. According to the Iranian news agency IRNA, the Taban Air flight, which was on a domestic route, crashed in the area today.

It should be noted that Iran's planes are old from the Mandate period. More than 200 Iranian planes have crashed in the last 25 years. At least two thousand people died in these accidents.
