The father of the abducted 14-year-old girl, Moshiur Rahman, a retired warrant officer of the army, said that his daughter is now an SSC exam candidate. Two or three years ago, Manik, the scoundrel son of a local Motiya driver, proposed to her and failed. Since then, Manik had been harassing the girl while going to and from school. There have been many arbitration meetings and trials in the area. But even then Manik's torture did not stop. The girl did not want to go to school because of his fear. He said, fed up with Manik's torture, he repeatedly went to file a case of eve teasing. But the teachers of the area say 'village boy'. If you sue, you will get bad name. We are settling.' Saying this, they called Manik and his father and tried to settle it. But every time the meeting ends, Manik's torture increases. Finally, on December 5, Manik went to their house to pick up the girl. At that time, the people of the house arrested Manik and informed his father and local dignitaries. Manik, his father and tutors then wrote and signed an undertaking that the incident would not happen again. Just the next day, there was a market in the area. In the evening the area was almost deserted. On that occasion, Manik and his five friends went in front of the girl's house with three motorcycles. They quickly entered the house and covered the girl's face with a black cloth. When the girl kept screaming, her mother Nurunnahar Lata came running from the kitchen. Manik then beats up Lata and picks up the girl. After this incident, a case was filed in Rajarhat police station. After that, Manik's threats started over the phone to withdraw the case.

Manik says, I will kill your daughter and send the body in a package. These conversations of Manik have been recorded on the mobile phone and given to the police and RAB. But they have no clue to catch the accused. Moshiur Rahman said in a tearful voice that once Manik called me, I was able to talk to the girl after asking him a lot. At that time, the girl was just saying, father, save me. He has not been spoken to since then.

He also said, I have not got my daughter back yet. I don't even know if he is alive or if he was killed. But the accused are out on bail and are now threatening to kill the entire family.
