The Dhaka Times Desk The holy Eid-ul-Azha will be celebrated on Monday, October 6. The National Moon Sighting Committee has announced this as the moon of Zil Hajj was not sighted today.

A meeting of the National Moon Sighting Committee was held on Thursday evening. In that meeting of the Ministry of Religion in the Islamic Foundation, it was decided that the first day of the month of Hilhajj will be counted from the next day as the moon of the month of Zilhajj was not seen anywhere in the country today. Accordingly, a decision was taken to observe the holy Eid-ul-Azha on Monday, October 6.
