Among waist exercises, it is important to press the bed with the knees bent while lying down, lying in the same position and pressing the knees together from side to side, lying in the same position with one leg and one knee folded and pressing against the stomach, etc. Back pain patients can benefit from shortwave, ultrasound, IFT back exercises and hydrotherapy i.e. swimming in water as per the advice of a physiotherapist along with painkillers.
Neck pain, treatment and advice
Neck pain can be caused by a variety of reasons. Basically, the bones and joints in the neck spine undergo degenerative changes with age. As a result, its ligaments become thicker and stiffer, and the disc that sits between the two bones begins to decrease in height and narrow. If this pain continues for a long time, deformation of the neck spine or spiral deformity may occur. All these problems are named by different names, such as cervical spondylosis, cervical spondylostosis, cervical rib, stiff neck, cervical injury etc.
Treatment: The aim of treatment for this disease is to reduce the pain as well as restore the normal range of motion of the neck. Strengthening the neck muscles, teaching about the correct position or condition of the neck or spine and creating awareness about the causes of neck pain and trying to follow the advice.
Physiotherapy treatment is very effective in these diseases along with painkillers to reduce the pain. Especially systematic exercises such as - pressing the head with the hands in different ways to strengthen the muscles of the neck, raising both shoulders together, using a light pillow, etc. In physiotherapy, heat treatment with the help of various types of electrical equipment, therapeutic exercises, manipulation and if necessary traction is beneficial for the disease. Cervical collar and light soft pillow under the head are used in many cases to prevent and support the neck from unnecessary movement.
