The Dhaka Times Desk Nowadays, the use of internet through the use of smartphones has increased more than the use of computer internet. By doing this cybercriminals have made smartphones their target and in this case the Android platform is their first choice.
Recently, a special investigation by the popular anti-virus maker Kaspersky Labs and Interpol has revealed that a large part of all the virus and malware attacks around the world are centered on Android phones. And this attack has increased since 2013. Anti-virus maker Kaspersky Labs also said in its report that 60 percent of all malware attacks since 2013 have targeted Android. And some have lost all their money in this attack.
Meanwhile, according to the survey of international smartphone users, it can be seen that 85 percent of the total smartphone users are in possession of Android and 98 percent of the malware is created targeting Android.
Russia has the highest incidence of mobile virus attacks followed by Android smartphone users in Ukraine, Spain, UK, Vietnam, Malaysia, Germany, India and France.
