Research on brain mapping now!

The Dhaka Times Desk The United States is about to begin large-scale research on the human brain. The research is expected to start soon. 10 million dollars has been initially allocated for this. US President Barack Obama is expected to announce this soon.

There is no end to the research. Scientists are conducting research on many things from the mystery of creation till today. Many successes have also come. This time American scientists have embarked on a new study. And this research is research on brain mapping. A senior official of the Obama administration said that the goal of this research is to invent new technology useful for understanding the human brain. To understand how the brain's billions of cells interact, its activity will be captured and designed.

A senior administration scientist compared the new initiative to the Human Genome Discovery Project. However, brain modeling is still more difficult than genome modeling. The research project, named Brain Research through Advancing Innovative Neurotechnologies (BRAIN), is a large-scale but somewhat daunting task. Because no clear goal or end point of this research is determined. In the interests of research, many new technologies will need to be invented. Such inventions may one day be used to treat Alzheimer's disease, epilepsy and traumatic brain injury.
