According to ICC rules, the use of personal phones by players during any international match will be completely prohibited. According to the rules, before the start of the World Cup, the players and team-related persons of each team participating in the World Cup must submit their phone numbers to the ICC in advance. Its only purpose is to monitor the phone. And so naturally Bangladeshi players Mashrafe-Sakibra are not missing from this list.

An Indian daily has already published news about the matter. It has been said that the ICC will hold a meeting with the captain and manager of each team in a few days regarding the rules of the World Cup. In the meeting, all the teams participating in the World Cup will be asked to send the phone numbers of every player, coaching staff and coach to the ICC. Maybe this initiative is being taken to track or monitor everyone's number. It is believed to be done to discourage unintended incidents such as match-fixing.

It is reported that there are some other guidelines in the ICC rules. For example, no party can have a 'night party'. Board officials cannot stay in the same hotel as the team. Every team will have an officer of the ICC's anti-corruption wing around the clock, who will keep a close eye on everything in the team. However, many of these instructions are already in place.

The manager of the team Khaled Mahmud told the media on the phone from Brisbane, "We have not heard anything about giving the phone number yet. But I will give the number if ICC wants. So far we have not received any guidance in this regard and we have not been informed.'
