There is a lot of criticism about the activities of the Islamic State (IS) terrorist organization in different countries of the world. This organization has been doing the most heinous act of killing people one after another under the guise of establishing Islam. This organization is doing the most barbaric things like sometimes beheading and sometimes burning people in cages. Panic has spread all over the world about their activities. In such a situation, the terrorist organization Islamic State (IS) and all its affiliates have been banned in India. Last Thursday, India's Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh officially announced the ban on the activities of this organization.
According to media reports, the militant outfit has been banned under India's Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA). For the last 2/3 years, especially in Iraq and Syria, this organization and its affiliates have been carrying out brutal killings.
The media also said that the banned terrorist organizations include the Islamic State, Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, etc.
In 2014, four youths from Maharashtra went to Iraq and Syria to join IS. One of them returned to the country but no trace of the other three was found. On the other hand, a young man from Bangalore working in a multinational company was arrested in December last year for allegedly running a pro-IS Twitter account. Also last month, Indian police arrested a young man from Hyderabad before going to Syria to join IS.
India's Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh said after declaring the militant organization banned, the Indian youth joining IS has caused deep concern.
It should be noted that Indian Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh made an announcement in Parliament last December 16 that India has banned this militant organization in the Middle East in accordance with the United Nations schedule.
