The Dhaka Times Desk The registration of women workers going to Saudi Arabia is starting from Thursday. In the first phase, only residents of Dhaka division can register from March 5 to March 11.
In a message from the Ministry of Expatriate Welfare and Foreign Employment, it is said that only the residents of Dhaka division can register in the first phase from March 5 to March 11. Then from March 12 to March 16, Rajshahi and Rangpur. Then it has been informed that registration will be done in Chittagong and Sylhet from March 17 to March 23 and Khulna and Barisal divisions from March 24 to March 28.
It has been said as a condition, the age of these women workers should be between 25 to 45 years. Registration can be done at the Nagar Digital Center and District Employment and Manpower Offices of every union, municipality, city corporation in the country.
Documents required for registration:
# Machine Readable Passport (MRP). If not then National Identity Card or Birth Registration Certificate.
# Machine Readable Passport (MRP) should be generated based on the same information as the name and address used in birth registration.
# Certificate of Educational Qualification.
# Photocopy of Experience Certificate (if any) and Training Certificate (if any).
# Character certificate issued by concerned Union Parishad Chairman or Municipal Chairman or Ward Councilor of City Corporation.
It is known that this registration will continue from 9 am to 5 pm every day. 300 will cost for registration. Among them, the government fee is Tk 200 and entrepreneurs have to pay Tk 100 for assistance in filling the form.
It is known that Saudi companies will spend 8 to 10 thousand riyals to hire domestic workers from Bangladesh; In Bangladeshi currency, the amount of which is 1 lakh 66 thousand 577 taka 2 lakh 8 thousand 221 taka. The fixed monthly salary of the workers will be 800 riyals which is 16 thousand 657 taka in Bangladeshi currency.
It has been reported that those who want to work in other professions including women domestic workers and garment workers in Dhaka city will be able to register at the City Digital Center from March 5 to March 11 today.
