The bodies of the couple, frozen in their embrace, were found on Mexico's highest peak, Pico de Orizaba. This loving couple was hugging each other even at the end. And in that state, 56 consecutive years have passed.

According to media reports, the government of Mexico said that it was 1959. An expedition goes on a Piro de Orizaba expedition. After 56 years, the mummies of two members of that group were recovered. Another expedition team rescued it. Mountaineers found two bodies covered in snow on Mexico's highest peak, Pico de Orizaba.

Francisco Rodríguez, a member of the expedition team, told the media that on November 2, 1959, a group of explorers were hit by a blizzard in Piro de Orizaba. While the bodies of the rest were recovered, two remained missing. Later they were declared missing. The mummies of the two explorers buried under the snow were finally recovered.

According to media reports, DNA of the recovered mummy has been sent for testing. Rescuers said, one more body may be recovered from the area. Five decades buried under the ice, the bodies have become like two mummies. After a long time they were recovered but the bodies were found almost intact as they were buried under the ice.
