Just imagine how inhumane a scene this would be. A man in India has been arrested by the police for allegedly taking his 8-year-old daughter to school by tying her to a motorcycle. The 40-year-old man was arrested by the police when a photograph taken by a passerby was published in a local newspaper in Uttar Pradesh. However, he is currently on bail.
Why such cruel behavior with his daughter? When the witnesses asked, the person said that the girl has an exam but she does not want to go to school. So he was forced to do so. Such a gruesome incident took place in a village of Mathura in Uttar Pradesh of the country. Recently, the work of implementing the massive campaign announced by the Prime Minister for the promotion of women's education in India is progressing.
According to news sources, the accused has two sons and three daughters. The accused works as a security guard in an autonomous school. Police said the little girl's father tried to convince her to go to school to take the test. For this the child was also promised sweets and gifts. But that didn't work either. As the girl did not agree in any way, the person got angry and tied her to the back of the motorcycle with a rope and sent her to school. Mathura Superintendent of Police Shailesh Pandey told the BBC that he has been charged with breach of peace and order. But there is no remorse in that person. Even if he spends a day in jail for what he did, he thinks he did the right thing.
