Dhaka South, North and Chittagong City Corporation elections ended on Tuesday amid boycott and criticism. Results are already published. It shows that candidates supported by Awami League have been elected mayors of three cities.
In the city elections, three candidates supported by Awami League Saeed Khokon in Dhaka South, Anisul Haque in Dhaka North and AJM Nashir in Chittagong have won.
The mayoral candidates supported by BNP announced a boycott of the election around 12:30 p.m., accusing them of occupying the center, terrorist attacks and rigging.

A total of 4 lakh 60 thousand 117 votes were received from 1 thousand 93 centers.
His closest rival was BNP-backed Tabith Awal of Bas Pratik. He got 3 lakh 25 thousand 80 votes.
Awami League supported candidate Syed Khokon hilsa fish symbol (South)
Mayor was elected by getting 5 lakh 35 thousand 296 votes. His closest rival is Mirza Abbas supported by BNP. He got a total of 2 lakh 94 thousand 291 votes.
Awami League supported candidate AJM Nashir Uddin was privately elected as the fifth mayor of Chittagong City Corporation. He got 4,75,361 votes. His closest rival, BNP-backed Manjur Alam, got 3,04,837 votes.
