Human chain of playground in Ishwardi against eve teasing and sexual harassment

Ishwardi representative Against eve-teasing and sexual harassment, Ishwardi sports hall has been cordoned off. Along with TSC organized human chain and street meeting at station road of the city against eve teasing and sexual harassment across the country.

Khelaghar Ishwardi upazila committee president Enamul Islam Jinnah and organizing secretary Shammi Tauhid Mun spoke on the occasion, Khelghar Ishwardi upazila committee advisor Tanya Shabnam Swati, Alor Michil Khelghar Asar advisor and panel chairman of Ishwardi municipality Feroza Begum, former Khelghar organizer Bilkis Rahman, Jayita Khelghar spoke on this occasion. The speakers demanded the arrest and exemplary punishment of the oppressors of women in TSC, saying what happened in TSC is not desirable in this civilized society. Calling for resistance against violence against women across the country, the speakers also said that men and women should play an equal role in this regard. Remembering the contribution of women during the language movement and liberation war, women should come forward in proper evaluation.
