The once famous actor Ilyas Kanchan was not seen in any film for almost 2 years. After this long time, Ilyas Kanchan is making his film debut with the movie 'Apar Opar' directed by Delwar Jahan Jhantu. The shooting of this movie has started from last May 1 in Hotapara of Gazipur. Ilyas Kanchan will be seen in the role of father in this movie titled 'Epper Opar'. Anchal Ankhi is playing the role of Ilya Kanchan's daughter in this film. Apart from this, actor Bappi and many others are acting in the movie.
Elias Kanchan made his film debut in 1977 with the movie 'Basundhara'. In the nineties, popular film actor Ilyas Kanchan mesmerized the audience with his fluent acting skills. He acted as the hero in the movie 'Veder Mey Jochna' which is recognized as the most commercial and popular movie of Bangladesh. So far Ilyas Kanchan has acted in about 300 films. He last acted in a movie titled Fatakest of Bengal in 2013. He was not seen in any film after that.
