Jamaat-e-Islami will hold this hartal program across the country tomorrow from 6 am on Wednesday to 6 am on Thursday. After hearing the verdict on Tuesday, Amir Maqbool Ahmad, in-charge of the party, announced this program in a press release.
The statement said, 'A nationwide peaceful 24-hour hartal program was observed from 6 am on Wednesday to 6 am on Thursday to express disappointment over the execution of Ali Ahsan Mohammad Mujahid in the conspiracy case filed by the government on false, fanciful and fictitious charges and to demand the release of all the arrested leaders and activists including him. will be.'
The Acting President alleged, "The government has staged a farce in the name of justice by filing conspiracy cases on false and fictitious charges against the party's leaders to wipe out the Jamaat."
It is to be noted that on Tuesday, the Appellate Bench led by the Chief Justice upheld the death sentence of Jamaat leader Ali Ahsan Muhammad Mujahid in the case of crimes against humanity.
