Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid also said in the emergency instruction letter issued last Tuesday to the officials of the ministry about the possibility of releasing the results on any day of the mentioned two days.
It should be noted that this year 10 lakh 73 thousand 884 candidates participated in the HSC and equivalent examinations under 8 General Education Boards, Madrasas and Technical Education Boards. 8 lakh 86 thousand 933 candidates participated in HSC under 8 general education boards. Among them, 4 lakh 51 thousand 645 students and 4 lakh 35 thousand 288 female students. On the other hand, 48 thousand 28 male students and 36 thousand 332 female students participated in the examination under the Madrasah Board, a total of 84 thousand 360 candidates. 98 thousand 247 examinees are participating under technical board. On the other hand, 4 thousand 344 candidates participated in DIBS (Diploma in Business Studies).
