Iran's supreme religious leader Ayatollah Khamenei said that Iran's policy in the Middle East will not change due to Iran's recent nuclear deal with world leaders.
He also said, 'Iran will always continue its support to its regional allies. These include President Assad's government in Syria and Hamas in Palestine. Ayatollah Khamenei said these things in a speech given on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, the main religious festival of Muslims.
Khamenei said, 'Iran has severe differences with the United States, especially over the Middle East policy. But even after the nuclear agreement, there will be no change in their policy towards the United States.
Khamenei also said, 'Despite this agreement, Iran will never stop supporting its friends in the Middle East. Iran's support will always continue for the oppressed people of Yemen and Bahrain, for the people and governments of Syria and Iraq, for the true jihadists of Lebanon, Palestine.
It should be noted that analysts believe that after the speech of Ayatollah Khamenei, there are indications that the conservative religious leaders of Iran will also remain in their strict position regarding the United States.
