The pistol was recovered from the front part of the building during night rescue operations with heavy machinery.

In view of the recovery of arms, police sources said that a case may be filed under the Arms Act at Savar police station! The pistol along with magazine and bullets are deposited at Savar police station, said Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Hashem of police in charge of the rescue operation.
