Divorced Imran Khan!

The Dhaka Times Desk Former Pakistani cricketer and Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party chief Imran Khan has divorced.

Married life started just 10 months ago with Reham Khan. However, this news was published last Friday that they decided to divorce by mutual consent.

After just 6 months of marriage, there are rumors that Imran Khan's marriage is not lasting. However, even after this rumour, they were seen together in various events. Even Imran Khan once criticized the rumors of divorce in a tweet, calling it a 'propaganda' by the media.

Denying the rumours, Imran wrote on Twitter last month, 'I am shocked by the slanderous statement made by a TV channel about my marriage. I appeal to the media to refrain from making such baseless statements.

But in the end that rumor proved to be true. Imran-Reham's marriage did not last even a year. Reham announced the divorce on Twitter, the BBC said.

A source close to Imran Khan told the media that Reham wants to get involved in politics. But Imran did not like it at all. The source believes that this is the main reason for the separation even though they had a dispute for other reasons.

Imran requested the media not to create rumors about the incident and to respect the sensitivity of the situation.

It should be noted that currently politician and one-time cricketer Imran Imran Khan married Jemima Goldsmith from Britain in 1995. But that marriage did not last. Finally they got divorced in 2004.
