Popular stage and TV actor Nader Chowdhury directed the movie 'Lalchar' starring actor Anisur Rahman Milan and best dancing champion Mohana Meem in central roles. Also acted - Masum Aziz, Sabiha Zaman, Kazi Sheila, Shahiduzzaman Salim, Rafiq Ullah Salim, Jhuna Chowdhury, Kazi Sheila etc.
Based on popular writer Imdadul Haque Milan's novel 'Naadi', the film has been submitted to the Censor Board on November 3. According to media reports, the shooting of this 'Lalchar' film started at Padma Char area in Srinagar, Munshiganj on February 1. Then the film was shot in different parts of the country.
Director Nader Chowdhury told the news media about the story of the film, 'The story of this film is made around the life struggle of people who are broken by the river. The story has all the ingredients a healthy genre film should have. Hopefully, I can present a good film of healthy genre to the audience.' This government funded film is produced by Impress Telefilm.
