Novel method of breaking mistakes: comparing the Bible with the Qur'an! [video]

The Dhaka Times Desk A novel way of breaking misconceptions about Muslims is shown. Trying to break the Bible by comparing the Qur'an!

Recent terrorist attacks worldwide have created misconceptions about Muslims and Islam. Two Dutch youths have taken an incredible initiative to break that mistake. In front of ordinary passers-by in the street, two young people read some Bible verses and ask for their comments, which are very different from the opinion of people in the western world today. Again, according to many, it is very aggressive. But what the two young men did was that they didn't even let the passers-by know that these were verses from the Bible. The Bible from which they were reciting the verses was covered with the Holy Quran. And so the passers-by first thought that these were verses of the Holy Qur'an. That's how they recorded the reactions of passers-by.

Some of the verses they recited to those laymen were: 'If you betray me, eat the flesh of your children. If a man lies with another man (homosexuality), then death is a better punishment for them.'

Hearing these stanzas, a passer-by said, 'Hearing these words, it seems that they (Muslims) want to force what they believe on others.'

And another person said, 'It was beyond my imagination that such a thing could be mentioned in the book.'

After the initial reaction of the passers-by, when asked about the Bible, they all referred to the Bible as a peaceful and ideal book.

Another said, 'The world is changing. I think it should be adapted to the Koran.' Then when they were informed that these were actually verses of the Qur'an, these were actually verses of the Bible, then many were embarrassed, and many remained silent without commenting. Then almost everyone was like, 'That's unbelievable'!

Note that these two youngsters have a YouTube channel called 'Dit Is Normaal'. Basically they made the video for that channel. First of all in that video they say, Muslims are repeatedly accused of only following Islam! News: News media.
