The Dhaka Times Desk The shooting of serial drama 'Chandra Nadihan Banke' has been completed. The drama is produced by M Sakhawat Hossain. The shooting took place in the Haor area of Mymensingh-Kishorganj, Chandpur Matlab and the vast char and river areas.
It is known that this new serial drama 'Chandra Nadihan Banke' based on the joys and sorrows, various struggles and love stories of the river town has been made with diverse stories. The drama is shot in scenic locations.
The story of the series revolves around a young man named Ashar Ali. This Ashar Ali left the village as a teenager and came back with no intention. Then he vowed to fight to get back the subject property. Besides, the double love of Dhanpushi, the daughter of Kheyar Majhi and Chandmukhi, the daughter of an influential moneylender, has created a three-way conflict in Ashar Ali's life - said director Sakhawat Hossain.
Sakhawat Hossain said, 'No concession was made for the need of story and perfect scenario. I believe the story of the play will leave a deep mark in the mind of the audience.'
Actor Sahid Alamgir of Rifle Mofiz fame played the role of Ashar Ali in the serial drama 'Chandra Nadihan Banke'. On the other hand, Sushmi Rahman played the role of Dhanpushi as a co-actress. Also acted - Dolan Dey, Kajal Mazumdar, M A Salam, Rafiqullah Salim, Ashraf Kabir, Hasi Moon, Nabila Islam, Lovely, S Sakhawat Hossain etc.
