The report also states that there may be significant benefits if the test is performed prior to surgery or organ donation.
Scientists said, through this research, it is possible to get an idea about some important genes in the human body. That is why the exact 'biological age' of a person of any age can be known through a blood test. This means that no matter how old or young a person looks, this test can tell their true age very easily.
Professor James Timmons of King's College London said, 'The 'aging test' is very important in organ transplantation. Because through organ transplantation, the biological age of the donor is transferred to the recipient.'
